Guake Terminal

Guake Terminal ist ein Dropdown-Terminal geschrieben für Gnome. Es folgt dem Beispiel von Yakuake und Tilda und vereint diese in einer GTK Anwendung.
Per Druck auf den definierten Hotkey wird von oben (Ganz nach Quake Manier) ein Terminal Fenster eingeblendet und bei nochmaligen drücken verschwindet es wieder.
Kein langwieriges Terminal öffnen mehr, sondern nur noch ein Tastendruck bis zum Glück.
Dank Guake bin ich noch fauler geworden und hab das normale Terminal fast komplett verbannt.
Guake liegt als Tarball oder auch als Debian Sid .DEB vor.
Außerdem ist es seit Ubuntu 8.10 (Interpid Ibex) auch in den Universe Repos zu finden (sudo aptitude install guake)

Yakuake hatte ich auch schoneinmal auf dem System um es mir anzuschauen, wobei ich es nie im Einsatz hatte und dann auch irgendwann heruntergeschmissen habe.

Sieht gut aus, mich nerven die 2 sec Wartezeit auch immer, bis das Terminal endlich offen ist.........
Was mir noch fehlt ist die Drag & Drop Möglichkeit, wie zum Beispiel bei einem normalen Terminal Fenster.
Naja wer weiß was noch kommt :)
ich hatte mal eterm mit devilspie installiert, und das term war quasi mein hintergrundbild. Auch sehr nett.
habe hier noch ein terminal, welches ähnlich wie Guake dem Benutzer ein Terminal am Bildschirmrand zeigt.
